A scalable neural network decoder based on a two-dimensional convolutional neural network that extracts local features from surface code syndromes, enabling deep networks trained on small codes and transferring to larger ones. The decoder outperforms MWPM for depolarizing noise and maintains performance for imperfect measurements.
